The Art Root Working Group have plans for the second year of the open studios weekend well under way.  We hope to build on the tremendous success of 2011,  continue to showcase fantastic local creative talent and attract new visitors to our fantastic area.

To the Hebridean Lighthouse with Vanessa Underwood -Running time11’40″

When Virginia Woolf’s novel ‘To the Lighthouse’ was first published, critics condemned the setting in the Hebrides as unconvincing and declared the book was really a portrait of life in Cornwall, scene of the author’s childhood holidays. This film had 2 screenings @ the Filmhouse Cinema and a shorter version was showing concurrently with the art exhibition at the Filmhouse cafe.
